QR Code Scanner is a utility application that uses your device's camera to scan and decode QR codes and barcodes. The App processes all scanning locally on your device and does not upload images or scan results to any external server.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Scanned Content: The App merely decodes QR codes. You are responsible for verifying the safety and legitimacy of any URLs, text, or data contained in scanned codes.
• Malicious Links: QR codes may contain links to malicious websites, phishing pages, or harmful content. Always verify the destination before visiting any scanned URL.
• Legal Compliance: Using the App in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

4. Scanning Accuracy

The accuracy of QR code scanning depends on various factors including camera quality, lighting conditions, QR code quality, and device capabilities. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in all scanning scenarios. The App may fail to scan damaged, poorly printed, or low-contrast QR codes.

5. Privacy & Camera Access

The App requires camera permission to function. Camera access is used exclusively for scanning QR codes in real-time. No images, videos, or camera data are stored, transmitted, or shared. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete details.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DMU (Digital Marketing Universe) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FROM VISITING MALICIOUS WEBSITES, FINANCIAL LOSS, DATA LOSS, OR ANY OTHER HARM RESULTING FROM SCANNED QR CODE CONTENT.

8. No Warranty for QR Code Content

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, accuracy, or safety of QR codes you scan. QR codes created by third parties may contain malicious, fraudulent, or inappropriate content. You scan QR codes at your own risk.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
